With over 1,000 hours of coursework, Lisa has passionately studied and practiced the healing arts since 2011. She is honored to bring this special work to her hometown of San Diego, California.
Prior to finding her calling in this work, Lisa had a 15 year accounting career and she holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration from San Diego State University.
When she is not practicing her craft, Lisa enjoys rock climbing, traveling, cooking, floating, tea, music, and snowboarding.
Ever the obedient daughter and good student, Lisa lived narrowly and constructed a life for herself before finding out who she really was. She conformed to what was expected of her, led with her head, and made calculated choices to assuage the emotional chaos of her childhood.
Although she initially found safety and comfort in the predictability, her narrow path was ultimately unsatisfying. In her early 30s, Lisa said goodbye to her long-term relationship and successful career to start the real work of knowing herself.
Using her pain and struggle as a catalyst for growth and change, Lisa was introduced to Polarity Therapy and Craniosacral Therapy at a treatment program for women with eating disorders. Her experience of the work was profound; it woke up something deep within her.
Compelled to explore these modalities further, Lisa went back to school to study the healing arts. Through her personally motivated journey with Polarity Therapy and Craniosacral Therapy, she discovered a powerful model for healing, a deep sense of purpose and self, and a dynamic skill set for helping others.
In her years of study and practice, Polarity Therapy and Craniosacral Therapy have taught Lisa:
• How to listen to, and honor, where she is
• How to be in struggle when she's struggling
• How to move with life and open to it
